Definitions

  • Country refers to: Singapore
  • Company (referred to as “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) refers to the developer of Ask Bubu and of SG Bus.
  • Service refers to the Ask Bubu mobile application, the assistant that answers its questions, and this website.
  • Terms of Service (also referred as “Terms”) mean these Terms of Service that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These are the Terms of Service governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Disclaimer & Data Sources

  • Affiliation: Ask Bubu is an independent personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Land Transport Authority (LTA) or any other government entity, SimplyGo, the Public Transport Council, the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Land Transport Guru, OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles, OpenStreetMap, OneMap, or any public transport operators in Singapore.
  • Data Sources: The Service contains information from the Land Transport Authority (LTA DataMall and data.gov.sg) and the Public Transport Council’s fare tables (data.gov.sg), made available under the terms of the Singapore Open Data Licence version 1.0. Campus shuttle information comes from NUS’s Internal Shuttle Bus and NTU’s Internal Campus Shuttle services. Addresses come from OneMap (Singapore Land Authority). Street names, places and map data come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors), with maps from OpenFreeMap (© OpenMapTiles). Supplementary transit information is sourced from Land Transport Guru.
  • Answers: The assistant builds its answers from the data above. Arrival times are estimates and can change; fares for train rides are worked out from measured distances and can differ from what is charged. Check the board at the stop or station when it matters.
  • Content Removal: If you are a content owner from a sourced platform and wish to have specific data removed, please contact us at hello@askbubu.ai.
  • “AS IS” Basis: The Service is provided to You “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of the data or the answers provided.

Our Service contains links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company. We assume no responsibility for the content or privacy policies of any third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service.

Governing Law

The laws of Singapore shall govern these Terms and Your use of the Service.
